Currently working on RBC securities in the Soo ---millwork
doors and wood doors frames. Everything in cherry including
the insides of the casework. The door frames are all nine
feet in height and are built some with sidelights as one
piece affairs prefinished-prepped for the doors-prepped
for the glass-with the reveals attached. We worked with
the drywaller to ensure a proper fit and reveal exposure.
The doors were also part of our package which is highly
recommended when prefinishing is involved.
We have several jobs on the books Husky Travel Centre,
BDO, Dubreuilville Rec Centre, Country Style Donuts, Brookfield
Power-all of which should take us into mid February.
This year has been a pleasant surprise as we have established
new customers and our young firm has had a chance to become
more established which has helped us pick up jobs by referral.
We have been asked to supply millwork to two customers in
Toronto by referral. We have been asked to bid jobs as far
away as Thunder Bay.-we will be looking at various school
tenders this spring and hopefully will be considered for
more invitational tenders as well. The New Year will be
a challenge as competition heats up but I for one think
that a lot of what we are hearing is media driven fear mongering.
Those that plan ahead, are creative and aren't afraid to
look outside the box will have an easier time.
