The RBC Securities job was a bit challenging as we were asked to supply all doors, wood door frames, casework, window sills, trims and glass-we had to do a lot of onsite prep work as this job had to be completed under a tight time frame which did not allow for the proper sequence of events such as shop drawings, colour samples etc. We had to build the frames to suit the drywall installations backwards from what is normally done. All frames and doors fitted with a little tweaking.

The colour selected presented a challenge as we had to finish the frames at site and the doors in our shop and to maintain a constant finish which is almost impossible the outcome was most satisfactory. The balance of the job involved kitchenette, glassed in reception, vanities, sills and trims which all in all came with high compliments from the RBC staff. Kudos to our install staff as they were forced to work long and hard hours to meet the schedule.

Husky - Sault Ste. Marie
This job was bid in two parts. The millwork for the restaurant as one and the millwork for the convenience store as the second. We were awarded the millwork for the restaurant and parts of the store. We supplied and installed all the restaurant table and back kitchen dividers, custom curved glass, hostess desk, vanities, office desks and casework, fir shower benches, and all the plastic laminate wall cladding. We were hired to install the owner supplied convenience store millwork which to our surprise came in the RFA format. Luckily we got an extra to assemble all their stuff which in itself took a bit longer than we had figured. All the millwork was installed as per usual under pressure to meet the deadline. Unfortunately we had to wait and or work around other trades which was cause for some heated moments. All in all everything turned out well and we had no deficiencies to deal with and were complimented on a job well done.
Sault Federal Airport - New International Customs
We were finally able to get in and grab some pictures of the mobile pil booths and tables completed at the Sault Ste. Marie Airport.
Country Style

Spring has finally arrived in the north and despite the on-going recession, we have been very busy quoting work throughout the north. Our board is getting full and we've actually started to turn work down. Current projects include the Essar VIP Suite, Grandview School, BDO Dunwoody and the Hilton Beach Waterfront Centre. We have also begun work on a high-end residential kitchen for a local business person. Later this spring we will begin several other projects including one in Thunder Bay and one in Dubreville.

2009 is looking to be a promising year.

We now manufacture recycling centres, perfect for schools, hospitals, office buildings, medical centres, arenas, hospitality, food service etc. We will build to suit the owners taste with regards to size and finishes. Why settle for standard range plastic when you can have real wood or a choice from hundreds of laminate colours to suit your personal decor. Why shouldn't these centres look more like furniture rather than something that looks like it belongs outdoors. No peel and stick labels allowed all units will come with lasered in logos to suit the requirements of each centre.
